Each time the
Corvette paces the Indianapolis 500, several "loaner"
Corvette Pace cars are released to local VIP's and
Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS)
track personnel throughout the month of May. These
Corvette festival pace cars are issued a special license
plate good for the month. These plates are hard to
get due to the limited number available, and are very
collectible. |
